Complex Football Analyst Postgraduate Programme
The Complex Football Analyst Postgraduate Programme, run jointly by the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) and V Academy Sport Education, provides comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge across the analytical disciplines of modern football. It combines the most current methods of video analysis, data analysis, scouting, recruitment and performance analysis, with a strong emphasis on practical application. Graduates are equipped to join the analysis staff of professional clubs, academies, sports agencies and national teams.

Aim of the programme
The aim of the programme is for students to acquire complex, practical knowledge of the roles of the modern football analyst, focused on scouting, video analysis and data analysis. During the programme students learn the basic concepts, processes and organisational embedding of the modern football scouting system, the professional criteria of player observation and player profiling, and the statistical foundations, data collection and visualisation techniques of football-specific data analysis. They also come to understand the fundamental rules of the legal and contractual framework around football, and the principles of agency work, communication and ethical business conduct.
Programme outcomes
On completing the programme, students will be able to carry out the following independently:
- conduct live and video scouting work independently
- produce complex qualitative and quantitative player evaluations
- prepare and present tactical material
- apply data analysis models and generate scouting shortlists
- produce decision-support analysis in a professional sporting environment
- assemble a professional portfolio and present it convincingly
